Volunteer Stewards Program
The Old Lyme Conservation Trust invites you to participate in our Volunteer Stewards Program! Maybe you live close to one of our properties or you just enjoy being outdoors on a regular basis? Please join us help care for our preserves and parcels here in Old Lyme.
Please fill in the form below or contact us if you are interested in becoming a Steward.

Program Objectives
- Secure volunteer Stewards for each of OLCT's major holdings, to strengthen monitoring and stewardship work of the Trust.
- Promote community involvement in OLCT and its stewardship activities..
Role and responsibilities of the Volunteer Steward
- Monitor the assigned preserve on a regular basis and prepare a brief report for the Trust.
- Participate in Green Crew (volunteer LOL High School work crew) activities where possible.
- Participate in a once-per-year Volunteer Stewards get together.
